Businesses are better equipped to serve their customers.
On Friday, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) was distributed at the McCoart Administration Building.
Establishments that requested supplies received masks and hand sanitizer.
According to Prince William Chamber of Commerce Director of Communications and Government Affairs Ross Snare, 488 gallons of hand sanitizer and more than 4,000 masks were distributed to slightly less than 200 businesses.
Prince William County Department of Economic Development, Prince William County Emergency Operations Center, and the chamber worked together to provide the PPE.
Steve’s Auto Repair & Tire was one of the businesses that was given supplies.
“As a small business owner, we appreciate any help that Prince William County is providing,” Owner ST Billingsley said. “We’re really just trying to survive and keep everyone employed, so they can support their families.”
