The vans and buses operated by the Prince William Boys & Girls Club are getting a deep clean, thanks to the generosity of a new local small business owner.
Guillermo Torres, Jr., a retired veteran and Stafford resident, just opened Detail Xperts of Prince William County Virginia – an eco-friendly steam cleaning and sanitizing service for vehicles.
“We’ll be doing business as the first Detail Xperts franchise in Virginia,” said Torres.
Detail Xperts is a franchise that began in 2002 in Michigan, and now has locations across the United States. According to the Detail Xperts website, they clean vehicles using a “combination of our patent-pending steam cleaning technology, biodegradable solutions, and polishing agents.”
One of Torres’ first acts as new business owner in the community was to donate cleaning services to all of the vans and buses for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Prince William County.
“We’re proud to be able to help them by providing a better environment for the kids to travel in, back and forth. What we’ve done to [the vans] is used our steam process to sanitize the vehicle inside – including all of the surfaces that are there, and the air system. We have actually pushed steam through the vents to make sure that the air that you’re breathing inside this vehicle is clean,” said Torres.
Torres will do the steam cleaning for Manassas’, Dale City’s and Dumfries’ Club vehicles every year.
