A Bristow resident has become a winner of the Virginia Lottery.
Amit Broka won $100,000 after purchasing a Powerball ticket at Sheetz, 11627 Nokesville Road in Bristow.
The winning numbers — 1-3-26-41-64 — and Powerball number, which was 17, were chosen by the computer through Easy Pick, according to a release from the Virginia Lottery.
Broka is considering using his winnings to buy a new car.
Drawings occur at 10:59 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Players have a 1 in 25 chance of winning a prize, and the possibility of matching all of the numbers is 1 in 292.2 million.
