Brentsville Day is coming up on September 23.
According to the Prince William County Historical Division, the event is being held to celebrate the history of the Brentsville community.
“The community of Brentsville has been around for nearly 200 years. It served as the social and political center of Prince William County for 100 years,” stated a release.
The free event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Brentsville Courthouse Historic Centre at 12229 Bristow Road in Bristow.
During the festivities there will be historic farm demonstrations, living history, games, bluegrass music, food trucks, and a beer tasting from Sinistral Brewing Company.
