A public hearing will be held on January 17 to discuss potential boundary changes that impact Montclair, Neabsco, and Wilson elementary schools.
According to a release, the Prince William County School Board will receive recommendations for the changes, known as Plan 6, which would mean adjusting the attendance areas of the three elementary schools.
“A boundary planning committee that met during the 2016-17 school year proposed Plan 6 following several meetings,” stated a release.
The proposed changes have a goal of dealing with some of the overcrowding at Neabsco Elementary School, which currently uses 12 classroom trailers, according to a release.
The hearing will be held at 7 p.m. at the Kelly Leadership Center. The school board is planning to act on the proposal following the public hearing in their normally scheduled meeting.
