A blood drive has been scheduled for May 28.
Running from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event will occur at the Paul T. White Jr. Western District Station, 8900 Freedom Center Boulevard in Manassas.
It’s being organized by the Prince William County Police Department’s (PWCPD) Crime Prevention Unit, according to a release from the department.
“Your blood donation can help ensure that our local trauma centers are prepared the moment an injured patient arrives,” a release stated.
Those interested in donating may sign up by calling 1-800-733-2767. They can also visit the American Red Cross website and type in the code “Prince William Police CPU.”
