A sorority chapter is celebrating culture and history at an upcoming event.
From January 31 to March 4, an exhibit that remembers Black History Month is going to be available for viewing.
The Center for the Arts in Manassas will feature the display, “Born at the Bottom of the Ship,” according to a release.
Washington, D.C., residents James and Zsudayka Nzinga Terrell created the pieces that make up the exhibit.
Citizens will have an opportunity to meet the couple and see their work at a free reception the Prince William County Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority (PWCAC DST) is hosting on February 9.
Beginning at 6 p.m., the event will offer live music, refreshments and door prizes.
This is the fourth year PWCAC DST has held the Black History Month reception at the center.
Those interested in attending can RSVP on eventbrite.
