This week, art, music and refreshments can all be found in one place – the Fall Arts & Crafts Show.
Held in the Town of Occoquan annually, the event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on September 24 and 25.
Imagination Alley is a new feature that will keep many children entertained at 305 Mill Street. Workshops, demonstrations and a community art project are some of the attractions.
The Fall Arts & Crafts Show doesn’t just offer an opportunity for kids to tap into their creative side. It allows adults to have a bit of down time at River Mill Park.
Starting at Noon, attendees may relax at the Beer & Wine Garden, where beverages from Water’s End Brewery and Woodlawn Press Winery will be available for purchase.
Live music will be performed, as well. Anyone with shopping on their mind can take their beverage with them as they check out over 200 vendors.
Community members don’t need to be concerned about finding a parking space downtown.
A few shuttles are going to be offered from three parking lots – Lake Ridge Commuter Lot, Route 123 Commuter Lot, and the Workhouse Arts Center.
Updates about the Fall Arts & Crafts Show can be found on the Town of Occoquan website or the Occoquan Craft Shows and Events Facebook page.
