More movie nights could be in store for Manassas Park residents.
A new theater is coming to the downtown area. B&B Theatres is building the facility in partnership with Norton Scott LLC, according to a release from B&B Theatres.
Consisting of eight screens, the cinema will also feature full-service restaurant Sterling’s.
“We are so excited for the realization of this project and can’t wait to bring the magic of the movies and the B&B way to movie lovers in Manassas Park,” B&B Theatres President and CEO Bob Bagby said in a release.
Established in 1924, the family owned and operated company began with a movie house that Elmer Bills Sr. opened in Salisbury, MO. Today, there are more than 500 screens at over 50 theaters in 14 states.
Norton Scott LLC recently finished the first phase for the Village at Manassas Park. Through this project, many facilities – including a library, new City Hall and Civic Plaza, and a commuter parking garage for the VRE – are being constructed on 26 acres.
