Community members will be rising to new heights this weekend.
The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) is offering tours and flights of the B-17 Flying Fortress at the Manassas Regional Airport on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Ground tours will be offered from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., according to the EAA’s website. They cost $10 per person and $20 for each family.
Advanced flight tickets are $409 for EAA members and $449 for non-members.
Passengers can also sign up on the day of the flight. Walk-up tickets cost $435 for EAA members and $475 for non-members.
Proceeds from the tours and flights will be used to maintain and operate the B-17 Flying Fortress.
