It was a night of memories and celebration at Hylton High School.
An Automotive Technology Banquet was held on May 23.
The annual program covered events students from the Hylton High School Automotive Program participated in this year.
Sponsors and students were also recognized.
“It’s a whole big night of showing appreciation to parents and students, and especially the industry that throws a lot of money at us,” Hylton High School Automotive Instructor Eddie Stevens.
Twelve graduates completed all three years of the automotive program.
Seven students received $77,500 in scholarships, with three planning to use $17,500, according to Stevens.
A jeep the students rebuilt was unveiled at the event, as well.
