High school seniors have been awarded scholarships to aid them in their career endeavors.
More than 45 graduates from Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) received scholarships through the SPARK Education Foundation.
According to a release by PWCS, more than $70,000 was awarded to the students.
SPARK manages more than 20 scholarships, but directly oversees five scholarships. The recipients of them are as follows:
Dr. Edward L. Kelly Memorial Scholarship
- Amanda Kraemer from Battlefield High School in Haymarket
- Jason Smith from Colgan High School in Manassas
- Kaitlyn Agostini from Stonewall Jackson High School in Manassas
Micron STEM Scholarship
- Sean Zylich from Woodbridge High School
- Nataniel Chong from Battlefield High School
- Katherine Cinnamon from Forest Park High School in Woodbridge
Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship
- James Tsai from Woodbridge High School
- Weesam Semaan from Battlefield High School
Chick-fil-A Prince William County Scholarship
- Sanjida Azad from Gar-Field High School in Woodbridge
Red Lawson Scholarship (Professional Certification, Associate in Science, or Associate in Applied Science)
- Kwabena Mensah from Stonewall Jackson High School
- Lauren Cravaritis from Patriot High School in Nokesville
Red Lawson Scholarship (Post-Secondary Education)
- Evan Reid from Potomac High School in Dumfries
- Sarah Caufield from Patriot High School
- Christina Taylor from Battlefield High School
