Community members will be able to enjoy food and meet authors at an upcoming Lake Ridge event.
Appetizers & Authors is occurring at Clearbrook Center of the Arts, 2230 Tackett’s Mill Drive B.
Run by the Bel Air Woman’s Club, the program begins at 6:30 p.m. on October 21. It’s offering appetizers, an author forum and a book signing.
Nancy Kyme, Adria Wilkins, Natalina Reis, Katherine Gotthardt, PM Hernandez and John Dutton will be the panelists.
The Bel Air Woman’s Club is a part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC).
In addition to hosting the upcoming Appetizers & Authors event, the community service organization runs a fashion show that collects funds for scholarships.
It also co-sponsors the county spelling bee and honors first responders, nurses and teachers.
Members of the club meet on the fourth Monday of every month. The meetings start at 7 p.m. at the First United Presbyterian Church of Dale City, 14391 Minnieville Road in Dale City.
