Kids and pets can enjoy some summer fun in Manassas.
The Prince William County Animal Shelter is hosting an event June 9 at 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. It will be held at the shelter, 14807 Bristow Road.
The program will include rescue groups, veterinarians, animal related businesses, and local animal welfare groups. In addition there will be pet adoptions, a photo booth, a raffle and critter closet.
Photo submissions for the shelter’s photo contest are being accepted until Saturday.
Winners of the contest will be awarded.
The event will be one of the last ones the animal shelter hosts before construction begins on its new facility this fall.
