A new urgent care is serving those in the Woodbridge area.
American Family Care (AFC) recently opened a facility at 14087 Richmond Highway, unit 101.
Lab testing and digital x-ray equipment are offered at the new clinic, according to a release. Workers’ compensation cases and occupational health exams are also among its services.
“Our new facility is staffed with skilled medical professionals who are deeply committed to providing medical care,” AFC Woodbridge Medical Director Dr. John T. Carmack said in a release. “We are opening just in time for flu season and our medical team is equipped to administer vaccines as well as test patients who are displaying flu-like symptoms.”
The public is advised to get a flu shot by late October.
Patients may receive care at the Woodbridge urgent care any day of the week. It’s open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
“We provide you and your family with convenient and affordable healthcare services. There is no longer a need to wait hours in an emergency room for non-life-threatening conditions anymore,” AFC CEO and Founder Dr. Bruce Irwin said in a release. “Come see our expert team of medical professionals at AFC Woodbridge, and we’ll get you on your way to feeling better.”
