Information about Alzheimer’s and Dementia is becoming available for caregivers.
Programs offered by the Alzheimer’s Association are going online, according to a release from Prince William County.
“People need support now more than ever. We’re moving it all online so people can get the information and the support they need,” Alzheimer’s Association National Capital Area Chapter Project Manager Dan Cronin said in a release.
Here are some upcoming online programs:
- Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia
- May 5, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- May 26, Noon to 1 p.m.
- Know the 10 Signs: Early Detection Matters
- May 12, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Understanding and Responding to Dementia-Related Behavior
- May 18, 11 a.m. to Noon
- June 2, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body: Tips from the Latest Research
- May 6 and May 12, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- May 19, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- June 11, 11 a.m. to Noon.
- Effective Communications Strategies
- May 26, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Living with Alzheimer’s for Caregivers
- June 16, June 23 and June 30, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
