Parents are invited to attend a free workshop on ADHD and behavioral management, hosted by the Arc of Greater Prince William.
According to a release, the workshop will be happening from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on January 24 at 13505 Hillendale Drive in Woodbridge.
The workshop is a collaboration between the Arc and the Prince William County Schools (PWCS) Office of Special Education Parent Resource Center. It will be run by Dr. James Crist, a clinical director for the Child & Family Counseling Center in Woodbridge, according to a release.
“Crist will provide a brief overview of ADHD symptoms and address how those symptoms affect behavior management in children and teens. The workshop will also include tips on using behavioral strategies successfully with children with ADHD,” stated a release.
The workship is limited to 60 participants, and registration is required.
The snow date is January 31.
