Action in Community Through Service (ACTS) opened their satellite office in Manassas yesterday.
The ribbon cutting for the office was held on site at 9317 Grant Avenue in Manassas.
“ACTS was formed when 13 churches came together in 1969 to alleviate suffering and hunger in our area. Today, ACTS is supported by many faith-bused organizations; local businesses; civic groups; schools; families in the community; Prince William County Board of Supervisors; and the United Way of the National Capital Area,” according to the ACTS website.
ACTS works in Prince William County, offering several programs including emergency assistance, emergency shelter, and assistance with domestic violence, sexual assault and abuse, and suicide prevention.
