On February 28, there will be overnight lane closures on I-95 in Prince William.
According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), the two right lanes going northbound and southbound between Cardinal Drive and the Dale City rest-area will be closed that night from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
The closure is being done so that crews can inspect bridges over Neabsco Creek, stated VDOT.
“Crews will first close the two right lanes and shoulder of northbound I-95 between 10 p.m. and 1:30 a.m., then close the two right lanes and shoulder of southbound I-95 between 1:30 and 4:30 a.m,” stated VDOT.
Drivers should plan to use alternate routes. The I-95 Express Lanes will not be impacted.
