The Prince William County Animal Shelter’s “Clear the Shelter” event was a big success.

According to the shelter, 44 animals were adopted during the event – totaling 26 cats and 18 dogs – who all have new homes.
“Thanks to the Prince William SPCA for helping to sponsor the event and providing the P.A.W. Express to hold the overflow of cats available for adoption. We didn’t actually clear our shelter today, but we are down to 2 adoptable dogs and still have a full room of adoptable cats,” stated the shelter on their Facebook page.
The Prince William shelter is located at 14807 Bristow Road in Manassas and is open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
