Community members can have an impact on health in the Prince William County area.
The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) is encouraging residents of the county, and the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park to participate in a brief online survey.
It will be available at livehealthynova.org through October 28.
Survey results will be used to identify issues and improve local health, according to a release.
“An individual’s health is shaped by more than just health care. Several factors play a role in shaping one’s health. These include affordable safe housing, built environment, education, economic opportunity, transportation and public safety,” Prince William Health Director Dr. Alison Ansher said in a release. “In coordination with cities and counties in the Northern Virginia region, we aim to use results from the survey to improve quality of life for individuals who live, work and play in the Greater Prince William area.”
The survey is offered in several languages — English, Spanish, Amharic, Arabic, Farsi, Chinese, Urdu, Vietnamese and Korean.
