A Prince William County water structure is getting an update later this month.
The Prince William County Service Authority (PWCSA) will soon begin repainting the Gainesville Water Tank.
The project is expected to take several months to complete, according to a Facebook post.
The Service Authority will provide updates on the rehabilitation work on Facebook and Twitter.
Located near Gainesville Middle School, the Gainesville Water Tank is one of eight tanks in the PWCSA West Water System.
Western parts of the county receives water from the Potomac River and Lake Manassas.
The west water system has a daily demand of 15 million gallons.
