Several community members have become more informed about a Prince William County utility service this summer.
The Prince William County Service Authority (PWCSA) hosted its second annual Water Academy.
On Wednesday evening, eighteen individuals graduated from the five-week program, which teaches participants about PWCSA’s role in the community.
The Service Authority is responsible for treating water that is distributed throughout the county.
In addition to learning about the organization’s services, community members participated in activities.
They toured the H.L. Mooney Advanced Water Reclamation Facility in Woodbridge and the Fairfax Water’s Griffith Water Treatment Plant in Lorton, as well.
