County residents have a little extra time to complete a survey.
The 2020 census has been extended to October 31, according to a release from Prince William County.
Its results affect the amount of federal funding the county receives for emergency services, schools, housing assistance, highway construction and programs, like Medicare.
How many U.S. Representative seats that are set aside for each state are determined by the survey, as well.
Responses from the census, which is offered in 13 languages, are confidential.
Anyone interested in completing it may visit 2020 census website or call (844) 330-2020.
