Community members can relive history in the City of Manassas.
The first annual Manassas History Weekend is scheduled for August 24 through August 26.
It will offer activities that focus on the region’s military history, according to a release.
On August 25 and 26, county residents and visitors can view displays at the 1825 Liberia House.
The exhibits will cover various topics, including medicine during the Victorian Age.
Visitors can receive a free wagon ride to and from the site.
Here are several additional activities taking place on August 25 at the Manassas Museum:
On Aug. 26 at 2 p.m., Manassas National Battlefield Park Superintendent Brandon Bies will speak about the recent discoveries at the park.
