A grant is helping local adults learn English and prepare for the workforce.
Literacy Volunteers of America — Prince William (LVA-PW) has received $5,000 from the Gannett Foundation.
LVA-PW, a non-profit, assists more than 700 Prince William County adults every year.
Based out of Dale City, the 28-year-old organization offers classes and tutoring on an array of topics, including reading and writing, and civics and citizenship.
