Leadership skills are being developed across the region through the efforts of a local non-profit.
Leadership Prince William (LPW) encourages community members to make a difference in Prince William County.
The Manassas-based organization’s adult program has helped managers and directors at Micron Technology grow professionally, according to Micron Technology’s academic and community relations manager Zuzana Steen.
Its partnership with LPW also connected the memory solutions company with community organizations and local school districts.
Micron Technology in Manassas supports LPW’s Summer Academy, which is offered to area youth.
“That’s a great way to give back, grow leaders — our future leaders in your community, our leaders in their age group who can influence others,” Steen said.
