Since 1965, Kline’s Freeze has been serving sweet treats to residents and visitors of Manassas.
Fifty-three years later, it’s closing up shop.
Owners James and Lorraine Croushorn recently announced their plans to close the business on August 19.
“After much thought and consideration, Lorraine and I have decided to transition to the next phase of our lives,” James Croushorn said in a letter to their customers.
Kline’s Freeze, which stands at 8200 Centreville Road, was opened by June Kline.
It has been frequented by many loyal customers over the years.
“[We] understand why they[’ve] got to move on and do other things, but we’re going to miss ‘em,” a customer said.
