An environmental non-profit is helping spruce up the Woodbridge Senior Center.
Keep Prince William Beautiful is creating a community garden behind the facility, which is located on Church Hill Drive.
The project is being funded by an AARP Community Challenge Grant, according to a release.
“I am thrilled to be able to provide this project for the Woodbridge Senior Center,” KPWB Executive Director Lynda Kummelt said in a release. “The staff at the senior center puts all their energy into making an engaging experience, and we are happy to help by enhancing the grounds.”
KPWB has previously helped create the Perpetual Memory Garden at the Manassas Senior Center, which dedicated the space in honor of Will Bennett.
KPWB needs volunteers to help with the project, which will occur this fall.
