A new learning opportunity is coming to western Prince William County.
The Rohr Jewish Learning Institute (JLI) is opening in Gainesville.
Starting this month, JLI will offer classes that cover a variety of topics, according to a release.
“At the heart of Jewish culture there has always been Jewish learning—an engaged and vibrant meeting of minds,” Rabbi Shmuly Perlstein said in a release. “We’re excited to be able to bring this open and interactive learning environment to our community.”
This academic year, JLI will have three six-session courses — Wrestling with Faith, which starts on October 22 and October 24; Crime and Consequence, which begins in February; and With All My Heart, which is commences in May.
The courses, which are available for all members of the public, will be offered in more than 350 localities in five continents.
