The Prince William Historic Preservation Foundation is hosting a history symposium this weekend in Manassas.
According to a release, there will be several speakers during the weekend long event at the Old Manassas Courthouse at 9248 Lee Ave. The fee to attend is $10.
Here’s the lineup for March 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.:
“The Washingtons and Prince William County” with Dr. John Maass
“J.E.B. Stuart’s Christmas Raid” with Robert O’Neill
“The Great Fire of Manassas & the Town it Inspired” with Lisa Sievel‐Otten
“World War I Through the Eyes of the Marines” with Thomas E. Williams
“The Courageous Four and the Integration of Prince William County Schools” with Norma Fields
In the evening there will be a reception at the Manassas Museum with the Curator at 9101 Prince William Street. There will also be an optional bus tour of historic private homes on March 26, which includes lunch for $50.
