Nothin’ Fancy was formed in 1994 to compete in a bluegrass competition. After discovering the undeniable camaraderie between its members, it has continued working together and gained a large fan base of loyal followers. The band has released 11 full length albums, and continues to perform at festivals all across the United States and Canada, and even in in Norway.

Tickets are $20, general admission, all ages. The building is a non-smoking venue.
Open parking is available in and around Old Town Manassas, including the city garage a couple short blocks away (and one handicapped space in front of the building).

Musicians of all skill levels are invited to bring their own guitar or try one of ours in these two guitar workshops! Previous Guitar Workshop students and newcomers alike are welcome. Refresh your skills and get ready for the 10-week Dominion Energy Veterans Guitar Workshop

Requiem in D minor

The talented musicians of the Battlefield and Fairfax High School Choirs and Orchestras perform one of Mozart’s most famous masterpieces, the Requiem in D minor, K.626. Mozart’s last work, the Requiem was left unfinished upon his death with the circumstances surrounding its
composition mired in myth, mystery and intrigue, including the rumor he was composing it for his own funeral!

BINGO

BINGO, benefiting SADSAC, a local pet rescue group. You will help us spay/neuter cats and dogs and place homeless pets into forever homes.

Winter Concert

Dance Etcetera’s 37th Annual Winter Concert features performances by faculty and select students of the dance, music, and drama departments.

“Breeding and Managing Endangered Species at the National Zoo,” presented by Dr. Natalia Prado. Bring your family and friends for a free, casual, interactive science discussion about the latest findings surrounding hot topics in science and medicine.

Sopranos

Enjoy a captivating afternoon of arias, duets, and trios sung by three acclaimed sopranos: Jennifer Decker, Kelly Glyptis, and Angela Knight. This talented trio with piano accompaniment charms in a program of musical treasures inspired by the artists’ favorite repertoire.

Enjoy lunch by Bluesage Catering followed by a one-hour concert and a coffee and dessert reception with the artists.

Folk Fusion

Enjoy an evening of folk fusion in an intimate cabaret setting with this young acoustic power trio from Prince Edward Island. The musicians, who perform on violin, guitar, and percussion, transform tradition with vigor, curiosity, and sparks of goofy humor. This mesmerizing
performance of traditional and original music is inspired by the musicians’ Atlantic Canadian histories and roots and infused with pop and world rhythms. Food and beverage available for purchase.
