Belts will be loosening as community members prepare to fill their stomachs with delicious food.
Leadership Prince William (LPW), a non-profit in Manassas, and the Prince William Chamber of Commerce are hosting the third annual Gourmet Guys Give Back on December 2.
Held at Linton Hall School in Bristow, the event will offer members of the public a chance to try and vote on dishes made by Prince William County chefs.
“Gourmet Guys is an opportunity for local, celebrity chefs to kind of strut their stuff,” LPW Executive Director Andrea Short said. “And when we say ‘celebrity chefs,’ we’re talking about business owners, elected officials, well-known people in the community.”
Chamber of commerce Director of Operations Kelly Elliott participated last year.
“My husband did a dessert,” Elliott said. “It was a lot of fun. There’s a lot of great food to sample.”
Tickets are $10 for kids between 6 and 13 years old and $25 for those who are 14 years old and older.
For the first time this year, individuals and organizations can participate in the Give Back to the Good Guys sponsorship.
“You can buy a pack of 15 tickets for local police, fire and rescue workers and their families, and we will distribute those to the department of your choice,” Short said.
Proceeds from Gourmet Guys Give Back will support LPW and chamber activities and programs.
