Prince William parents who have Valentine’s Day plans have a babysitting option for their children.
Boy Scout Troop 501 is offering to watch up to 60 elementary and middle school children through its Valentine’s Day Parent Night Out event.
The troop has scouts and scouters who have American Red Cross Babysitting Safety certifications.
Children will watch “Star Wars: A New Hope” in Freedom High School’s cafeteria. Pizza, drinks and Valentine’s Day treats will be provided.
The event runs from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
It costs $5 per child, and cash payment must be made at the door.
Parents must fill out a sheet containing emergency contact and allergy information.
Each child must be signed up individually online.
