Writing a book takes time, talent and imagination.
Citizens learned more about the process at the second Appetizers and Authors event that occured at Clearbrook Center for the Arts, which is located at Tacketts Mill in Lake Ridge.
The Bel Air Woman’s Club hosted the program on Monday.
Established in Dale City 45 years ago, the Bel Air Woman’s Club is a community service organization.
The club, which is seeking members, is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC).
Program attendees enjoyed food and learned about the creativity behind writing books, according to the club’s 2nd Vice President Patti Beattie.
Five panelists — Nancy Kyme, Ellen Butler, Kristy Gillespie, Natalina Reis and John Klapperich — discussed their love for writing, as well.
